School Cleaning Operatives

Generic job description:

Responsibilities for this role include cleaning toilet areas, emptying bins, vacuuming, dusting, mopping and other general cleaning duties within a school environment. This vacancy requires the successful applicant to work term-time hours as described in the vacancy listing. However, flexibility to work between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm during the school holiday periods is essential.

Those applying must have good verbal communication skills as they will be required to understand instructions and comply with any current health and safety regulations. Experience is preferred but not essential for this part time, school cleaning role.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced CRB/DBS disclosure. The cost of this check must be met by the applicant themselves and will be deducted over a set period of time from wages.

School Cleaner (Part Time)

Area: Various
Salary: Various
Hours: Various

Mobile Cleaner (company van provided)

Area: Surrey
Salary: 9.61 per hour
Hours: 3.3opm to 9.3opm, Monday to Friday

School Cleaning Supervisor (Part Time)

Area: Tunbridge Wells 
Salary: £9.70 ph
Hours: 3.30pm – 6pm

Job description: 

Duties include general cleaning within a school environment, whilst overseeing a small or large team of cleaners to ensure that premises are kept clean and fully staffed at all times. There will also be some minimal paperwork required from time to time and may include some locking up duties.

The successful applicant will have good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions to a team, whilst complying with health and safety regulations. The ability to work on your own initiative is essential, as is the flexibility to work between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm, during school holiday periods. Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred for the vacancy.

Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced CRB/DBS disclosure. The cost of this must be met by the applicant and will be deducted over a set period of time from wages.
